Our story

The Right Reverend Blues Band was baptized in the spirit of generosity. What began as a one-time charity gig to raise funds for local causes turned into a calling far greater than the band ever imagined. With two pastors in the lineup—preaching the Good News on Sunday and preaching the blues on Saturday night—the music quickly became a kind of revival, lifting hearts, shaking souls, and turning every stage into sacred ground.

The Band

This is a band of brothers in every sense of the word. Two real-life brothers locked in with another pair of brothers, and together they found their “brother from another mother” to complete the circle. That bond of blood and spirit gives the band its fire.

When the guitar testifies, the bass lays the foundation, the drums drive the heartbeat, the keys open the heavens, and the saxophone cries out like a prophet in the wilderness—you know you’re in the presence of something holy.

From the first benefit concerts to clubs, festivals, and street corners, The Right Reverend Blues Band has carried the same mission: to spread joy, groove, and good news through the language of the blues. Every show is a gathering, every song a sermon, every note a prayer. And whether you come to dance, to sing, or just to feel something real, you’ll leave knowing you’ve been part of the congregation. Can I get an amen?
